So if anyone even reads this anymore...I am sorry I have been gone for so long. But now I promise things are "back to normal". I will post every day (almost) and not be a bad blogger anymore.
So...in the past month we had:

- One Prom "you were both beautiful"
- The beautiful baby came home from the hospital - they regulated all that needs to be regulated and he is a happy and healthy 3 month old "welcome home C.J."
- 1 volleyball camp over - one to go "congrats on tieing for 1st place Vicki"
- 1 vacation to Maine in which it rained ALL week "but we swam anyway"
- 1 4th of July "Happy Birthday America"
Heres some photos of the last month...
Thanks for hanging in there...

The Simple Woman's Daybook

It's been awhile -
Visit Peggy at The Simple Woman for more Daybook entries!

Outside my Window… A perfect spring day - not too warm, not too cool with endless blue skies.

I am thinking… how the little things really don't matter.

I am thankful for… the baby being released from the hospital, 3 weeks is too long.

From the kitchen… for supper tonite chicken stir fry and rice.

I am creating… nothing I haven't been able to concentrate on anything lately.

I am going… to begin getting ready for our Vacation, I still have a few weeks but hopefully it will go quickly our family needs it.

I am wearing… black pants, white cami and gray sweater

I am reading… same as am creating "nothing"

I am hoping… that we have some down time, nothing to worry about and no stresses for awhile.

I am hearing… nothing its pretty quiet around here

Around the house… i think it is time to begin putting things in perspective around the old house...doing a little spring cleaning both of the house and of us mentally and physically.

One of my favorite things… rubbing the baby's head...its so soft and he loves it so much.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… doctors for me - prom for daughter - not much else

Here’s a picture thought I am sharing with you...a sneak peek at the prom dress

It has not been a happy time

It has been awhile since the last post - things here have not been going real smoothly. My precious grandson has been in PICU at the medical center they are not sure what is wrong but they are leaning to a genetic disorder called digeorge syndrome. I don't know alot about it but he is a pretty sick little boy. Please pray.

Happy Mother's Day

A Mothers' Day Prayer

I [we] thank you, Creator of us all, for my [our] mother[s].
I thank you that she gave me life and nurtured me all those years. She gave me my faith, helping me to know you and to know Jesus and his ways. She taught me how to love and how to sacrifice for others. She taught me that it was okay to cry and that I should always tell the truth.
Bless her with the graces she needs and which you want to give her today. Help her to feel precious in your eyes today and to know that I love her. Give her strength and courage, compassion and peace.
Bless her this day with your love.

American Idol

Don't remember seeing her on American Idol? Well... in our little corner of the world the local radio station holds an American Idol Junior contest. My daughter signed up and performed last Friday night. I won't find out until May 9th if she made it to the next round or not. But, if she didn't it wasn't for a lack of trying. She was fantastic...but there were alot of talented young people there. She sang "Broken Bridges" by Lindsay Haan - If you've never heard the song YouTube it. She was amazing I am so proud of you Vicki.
